EE Invitation Rounds

Express Entry System is a tool used by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada for management and processing of immigration applications for permanent residence for skilled workers in Canada or overseas.

Express Entry Invitation Rounds

On average, two or three times in a month the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invites candidates to apply for permanent residence. So, if you are in the Express Entry pool of candidates waiting for an invitation, then IRCC may select you in any of its monthly Invitation Rounds. And of course, your score in the Comprehensive Ranking System is determinative.

Ministerial Instructions

Minister prepares Instructions for each Express Entry Invitation Round. Instructions set:

–    The date and time of the invitation round.

–    The number of candidates that will get an invitation to apply for permanent residence

– Immigration program(s) under which candidates in the Express Entry pool will be selected.  Some invitation rounds may only invite candidates for one program, for example only from Federal Skilled Trades.

Likelihood To Be Invited In The Next Express Entry Round

Therefore, if you would like to estimate the likelihood to be invited in the future Invitation Rounds, calculate your CRS score and compare with the CRS score of the lowest-ranked candidate in the previous Express Entry Invitation Rounds. You see how likely you are to get an invitation in the next round.
